maritime immediate emergency care course

The UKMPA Maritime Immediate Emergency Care Course is now fully operational, and since the initial courses at Teesport and Bristol there have been a number of further courses at ports around the UK and interest from many more both at home and abroad. Designed specifically for maritime boat crews and dock personnel, this intuitive check-card based course enables candidates to be trained in, and subsequently use, lifesaving professional equipment that can mean the difference between life and death in the first minutes after injury or illness.  Many routine maritime operations now find themselves out of immediate reach of NHS Ambulance or Search and Rescue intervention, and this unique course aims to bridge the time gap before arrival of medical aid.

Successful completion of this one-day course will result in certification of Maritime IEC and HSE Emergency First Aid at Work. Certification can also be upgraded to STCW 95 Elementary First Aid for those that require, assisting organisations’ STCW 95 and HSE requirements.

Saviour Medical are able to not only provide the training and bespoke check cards, but also supply the exact equipment to match course content for seamless integration into practice.

This course and associated check cards are only available from Saviour Medical. For further information and contact details please see our website; www.saviourmedical.com
