Every three years, The Nautical Institute holds a series of worldwide seminars. This year the AGM will be held in London at Trinity House in conjunction with one of the seminars The topic of Navigational Accidents and their Causes is receiving huge attention in the industry. The purpose of the seminar is to bring together key stakeholders to discuss this subject and hopefully to provide some solutions for delegates to consider, take away and use. A number of high quality speakers from the local shipping community and from overseas will present interesting and thought provoking papers. We will also be publishing a report of our findings in Seaways, the Institute’s monthly journal and use the seminar recommendations in the Institute’s work, including input to the IMO where appropriate.
