Mercure Holland Hotel, Bristol

The Mercure Bristol Holland House Hotel & Spa is a modern 4-Star Hotel with meeting facilities for up to 230 delegates, spa, indoor pool and gym. The hotel is perfectly placed for business and leisure.

Delegates & Observers

The conference is open to all UKMPA full/associate members to attend. Please note that your district may appoint one voting delegate to the Annual Conference for every ten, or portion of ten, ordinary members belonging to the district. Each delegate is entitled to one vote, either in person or by proxy given to another delegate who is present in person. Additional UKMPA members are referred to as Observers.

The full conference delegate package  for members rate is £105 and will include the Welcome Reception on 22nd, all Conference Sessions with lunch and refreshments  and the post Conference social event on 23rd.

Non-member rate is £ 125.   Partner rate is £ 60.  Full details for members can be found on UKMPA circular 2-2018

May 22nd

May 22nd Welcome evening reception at the Mercure Holland House Hotel

A drinks reception with hot buffet will offer an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. Later you can enjoy a trip into the heart of the city and take in some of the many pubs and micro- breweries close by.

May 23rd

Morning, before coffee: UKMPA “Closed Session” Business Conference
Morning, after coffee and Afternoon:  “Open session” technical presentations.

 

May 23rd – evening social event.

 

For those wishing stay on, there will be an informal dinner on board “Matthew”.  Note that there is limited availability and thus this will be booked on a first com-first served basis with members and partners having priority over non-members.

Delegates’ partners

The partner programme is a walking history tour led by a member of the Long John Silver trust, followed by a light lunch thence onto the SS Great Britain for a guided tour with the opportunity to see the new Brunel exhibition.

Meet in the hotel lobby at 09:30 to walk to Queen square to meet at the statue of King William for 1000.

Finish at the docks by 1130 to stroll to lunch venue etc.
